Parts and Aftersales Development Manager
Location: Heltor Business Park, Heathfield, Newton Abbot
Salary: Scale commensurate with experience £25,000 – £35,000
Package: Holiday – 20 days plus Bank holidays

Hours: Monday-Friday 8.00am to 5,00pm, Saturdays 8.00am to 12.30 pm (Rota basis)
Established in 1964, CR Willcocks is an agricultural and garden machinery dealer located in an easy to reach location in South Devon. We sell, service and hire every type of machinery that can be used on the farm, golf course, camp site, country estate and domestic garden. Our shop stocks a wide range of goods, including chainsaws, personal protection equipment (PPE), clothing and tools.
The company is one of the longest established Ford New Holland dealerships in the south west. We also represent Polaris and Yamaha quad bikes, off-road vehicles and golf buggies, along with Husqvarna garden machinery.
Role Responsibilities:
To be a strong company representative that has product knowledge and delivers a great customer service, whilst building and maintaining strong and lasting relationships with new and existing customers.
Motivating the departmental team whilst delivering a hands-on approach.
You will be required to:
- Work alongside the Service and Workshop Manager and Sales team
- Maintain required stock levels on parts and service items
- Manage Goods Inwards and Goods Outwards processing
- Liaise with key Suppliers and develop new relationships
- Control and monitor parts return and credit processes
- Manage communications between your team and the workshop
- Develop and streamline to current department processes
- Be responsible for Parts WIP, and Invoicing
- Organising and overseeing Staff development within the department
- Actively consider marketing opportunities and sales growth within the department
- Liaise with the Sales Director and Sales Team regarding stock for new models
- Day-to-day management of the Front and Back Counters
- Manage the main Showroom, creating a functional but attractive and easily navigable experience for customers, presenting a rotating current offering of Goods, Parts and accessories, and promoting the breadth of services that the business has to offer, optimising cash-flow through the department
Successful Candidate will require the following:
- A good understanding of agricultural machinery
- Good administrative skills and attention to detail
- Good IT skills, experience with IBCOS Gold or similar Dealer Management system would be advantageous
- Good telephone manner when dealing with customers and suppliers
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work on your own initiative, but also with the wider business team
- Flexibility and willingness to take on other tasks and specific projects when required
