ANDREW LEE - T7.210

Andrew Lee of P J Lee and Sons uses the T7.210 New Holland tractor across their 4046 hectare arable farms in Cambridgeshire where he is partner with his father, uncle and brother. The farm looks to produce and store 40,000 tonnes of potatoes annually  as well as maize, wheat, sugarbeet and other root crops.

The T7.210 New Holland was supplied by Ernest Doe, Littleport. It has currently completed 594 hours on a range of tasks during the few months it has been on the farm. Andrew comments, “Duties so far this season have included irrigation, harvest and an array of farm duties such as drain jetting.  At harvest in particular, it was used to haul lorry bulkers in the field with powered dollys; this worked well. I also liked the pulling ability of the T7.210 in the field. Once the correct tyre pressures were set-up, we were able to use it efficiently without the need for a front weight. It’s also very surprising on fuel consumption compared to other comparative makes, therefore kinder  on the pocket!

The guidance system of the T7.210 is intuitive and will have distinct benefits for our springtime cultivations. Our Lithuanian operator says he particularly likes the simplicity in changing the language on the screen as it’s very easy to use and navigate through. the screens. I also like the fact that the cab of the T7.210 is very comfortable and compact with settings within arm’s reach."
