Wessex AF Flail Mowers

Ideal for tackling dense vegetation along with maintaining forestry and woodland areas, the Wessex AF Series of flail mowers are a popular choice with farmers, estate owners and contractors. The models in this series come in working widths of 1.2m and 1.6m.

Rear Wheel Option
For getting through a narrow access, or for cutting close to borders and fences, the 1.2m version has the option of becoming a rear wheeled flail mower. This is thanks to the Swinglock Axle System, allowing the mower to be converted from side to rear wheels in less than 5 minutes.

Floatation Tyres
For mowing in more boggy areas, instead of using the standard grass tyres, the flails with side wheels also have the option of being fitted with 22 x 11-8 floation tyres.

AFE – Estate ATV Flail Mower
Designed with private estates in mind, the AFE models are powered by a 13hp V-Twin Briggs & Stratton engine, have an automatic clutch and are ideal for shredding and mulching vegetation and long grass.

AFX – Professional ATV Flail Mower
The AFX models come equipped with a 18hp V-Twin Briggs & Stratton engine along with a manual clutch with 3 belts. The AFX models are well suited for flail mowing in tougher terrain.

AFR – Contractor ATV Flail Mower
Powered by a 23hp V-Twin Briggs & Stratton engine, the range topping AFR models also come with electric start, manual clutch and forged heavy-duty flails. This is a flail mower that will pulverise heavy scrub and vegetation with ease.
